After being detained, Selen Görgüzel, who was released under judicial control, was shown a photo of her with the suspect Rabia Karaca on a private plane during her statement at the prosecutor's office. Görgüzel stated that she was sent on the Cyprus vacation by Emel Müftüoğlu, saying, "I did not encourage anyone to engage in prostitution during the vacation. Müftüoğlu may have made money off me, but I did not receive any money from this person." Meanwhile, Emel Müftüoğlu was also detained today as part of a drug investigation.
After being detained as part of a drug investigation in Istanbul, Selen Görgüzel, who was released under judicial control on charges of "prostitution" and "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use, or using drugs or stimulants," stated in her testimony at the prosecutor's office that she did not use drugs on the private plane they took to Northern Cyprus for vacation and did not encourage anyone to engage in prostitution.

"EMEL MÜFTÜOĞLU SENT ME TO CYPRUS FOR VACATION"
Görgüzel stated that she boarded this plane after her vacation in Cyprus and that she was sent on this trip by Emel Müftüoğlu. She expressed that during the Cyprus vacation, Müftüoğlu received a casino chip from Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, a fugitive suspect in the İmamoğlu organized crime investigation, for gambling, and claimed that Gülibrahimoğlu and Müftüoğlu played high-stakes gambling.
"IF I HAD KNOWN IT WAS IMAMOĞLU'S PRIVATE JET, I WOULDN'T HAVE USED IT"
Suspect Görgüzel said, "There were some people whose names I can't remember right now during our vacation. One thing I remember from this vacation is that Gülibrahimoğlu and the girls with him went to a private room to continue gambling. I did not encourage anyone to engage in prostitution during the vacation. Emel Müftüoğlu may have made money off me, but I did not take any money from this person. I learned much later that the plane I boarded on the way back was the private jet used by Ekrem İmamoğlu. In fact, if I had known that this plane was İmamoğlu's private jet, I wouldn't have used it."
Görgüzel claimed that she did not enter the closed room on the plane and that she could not remember the conversations about the drug, money, and drugs because a lot of time had passed since then, stating, "I definitely did not use drugs on this plane."
"YOUNG GIRLS FREQUENTLY WENT TO THE BACK ROOM ON THE PLANE"
Görgüzel also stated that when she saw young girls frequently going to the back room on the plane, she warned them by saying, "Isn't it a shame, you are allowing yourselves to be used," and claimed that she had no knowledge of who sent the women on the plane.
INVESTIGATION
In the investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, 6 suspects who were detained were sent to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan after their health checks.
The prosecutor's office referred Ayşe Tarım, Ayşe Sağlam, Burak Fahri Yön, and Ceren Alper to the peace criminal court with a request for their arrest.
Judicial control was requested for suspects Nilüfer Batur Tokgöz and Selen Görgüzel. While the peace criminal court decided to arrest Tarım, Sağlam, and Alper, it ruled for judicial control measures for Yön, Tokgöz, and Görgüzel.
Finally, it was announced that 6 people, including actor Oktay Kaynarca and singer Emel Müftüoğlu, were also detained. The suspects were detained on charges of "Possessing Drugs or Stimulants for Personal Use, Facilitating Drug Use, Encouraging Someone to Engage in Prostitution, Making it Easier for Prostitution, or Providing Accommodation for Prostitution, Providing Places and Opportunities for Gambling."
