"I SAY GOODBYE TO YOU"In Semih Şentürk's farewell statement, he said, "The battles I fought on the field, the goals I scored, and the victories we experienced while wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey were the most precious moments of my life. I always proudly represented this jersey and tried to represent this great community in the best way possible. After my football career, I took on the responsibility of guiding our young talents and instilling the spirit of Fenerbahçe. If I could contribute even a little to their development, I am truly happy. This club gave me not only a career but also a family. I felt your support in every training session, every match, and every victory. It was a great honor for me to pass on my football knowledge and experiences to my young players during my time in the youth academy. I wholeheartedly believe that these young players will represent Fenerbahçe and our country in the best possible way in the future. Today, as I leave my position in the Fenerbahçe Sports Club youth academy, I am experiencing the difficulty of saying goodbye to you... It is truly difficult to express how intense my emotions are. Saying goodbye is always hard. However, I know that Fenerbahçe will always have a special place in my heart. Being a part of this club has always been a source of pride for me and will continue to be so. Every moment I spent with you, every emotion I experienced, will remain unforgettable memories throughout my life. Dear Fenerbahçe family, as I say goodbye to you, I carry deep gratitude and love in my heart. If I have been able to contribute to this great community, I am truly happy. I would like to thank our dear fans, especially the great Fenerbahçe supporters, our president, the executives responsible for the youth academy, the academy directors, the youth coaches, and the players we have trained, for the love you have shown to me and my family. For now, I say goodbye to you in order to pursue my own dreams and become a good coach. I will always be with you, in my heart and in my prayers."
