Social media influencer and entrepreneur Sercan Yaşar, who was arrested on charges of "drug possession" and "drug trafficking" as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was brought to the courthouse today to give a statement.
BENEFITED FROM EFFECTIVE REMORSE, RELEASED
Yaşar, who was claimed to have "revealed everything upon his arrest," was released after benefiting from effective remorse following his statement at the courthouse.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
As part of the investigation, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated proceedings against a large number of individuals in recent months. During this process, 10 people, including former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy and influencer Sercan Yaşar, were arrested on charges of "using, possessing, and facilitating the use of drugs."
