Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı, who went to Riva to meet with the TFF management, made some statements. Adalı announced that they have communicated their request for a foreign VAR referee to the TFF, saying, "We have conveyed our request for a foreign VAR. I don't remember any mistakes in our favor in the first half of the league. They don't remember either. Unfortunately, the controversial decisions always go against Beşiktaş. They are playing with our nerves. I have also conveyed this to them. We are the most well-mannered team in Turkey."
Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı has moved to Riva to discuss the referee decisions given and not given during the Gaziantep FK match with the TFF management. President Adalı expressed his reaction regarding the referees in a meeting with TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. After this meeting, Adalı made a statement to the press.
"WE WANT A FOREIGN VAR REFEREE"
Serdal Adalı, who announced that they requested a foreign VAR referee from the TFF, said, "I told our MHK president the same thing. What I thought six months ago with our MHK president, I still think today. He may be a good person, he may be trying to do a good job, but I don't think he has control over the team working under him. We have conveyed our request for a foreign VAR. I don't remember any mistakes in our favor in the first half of the league. They don't remember either. Unfortunately, the positions against us always happen to Beşiktaş. They are playing with our nerves. I conveyed this to them as well. We are the most gentlemanly team in Turkey. We have always tried to support the federation. However, there is a final point for the future of the Beşiktaş community. We are at that final point. There is no one better than us in being gentlemen. But they shouldn't provoke us. When it comes to pouring into the streets, let them do it in the best way. There are examples in history." he said.
''I REPEATED IT TODAY''
Continuing his words, Adalı spoke about VAR referees, saying, "Especially regarding VAR referees... There is a shortage of referees related to referee operations. While there is a shortage of referees, reinforcement is needed. I said it before, and I repeated it today." he stated.
''THEY DON'T THINK VERY DIFFERENTLY EITHER''
Finally, Serdal Adalı stated, "We would like to continue with our local referees on the field, we trust them, but especially emphasizing, whether you call it an official request or whatever, we conveyed our desire to start the second half with a foreign VAR referee. They don't think very differently either. Today, the federation president also said that there is no compensation for the mistakes in VAR." he explained.
