In the 13th week of the Trendyol Super League, Beşiktaş's head coach Sergen Yalçın made an assessment after the match that ended in a 1-1 draw with Samsunspor. Expressing their disappointment, the experienced coach said, "Unfortunately, it was another individual mistake; we scored an own goal. Our psychology was affected. We lost our concentration. We could have conceded another goal as well. We are sad."

Beşiktaş's head coach Sergen Yalçın, who drew 1-1 with Samsunspor in the 13th week of the Trendyol Super League, made statements after the match.

"OUR PSYCHOLOGY WAS DISTURBED"

Responding to the question, "What was missing in the game?" Sergen Yalçın said, "We didn't start very well in the first 15-20 minutes. The players got used to it and we took control. We played very effectively for 20-25 minutes. We started well in the second half and took the lead with Cengiz's penalty goal. We thought the team would react well, but unfortunately, due to another individual mistake, we scored an own goal. Our psychology was disturbed. We lost our concentration. We could have conceded another one even. We are sad."

"IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE"

Expressing their sadness, Yalçın said, "We are sad. We aimed to win. The players' energy was good. We were unlucky. When it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. We constantly talk with the players. In the matches where we lost points, we took the lead and then gave away points. It's hard to understand. There are many individual mistakes. Individual mistakes have bent our backs. There is no training to work on individual mistakes. There is no work to solve this. These things can happen. Naturally, we cannot take precautions against them. If we hadn't conceded a goal from an individual mistake after 1-0, the team would have been more energetic and motivated. Football is a live game. We cannot foresee everything. The team is well-intentioned. Our understanding of the game is not bad. The team is also fighting. Samsunspor is a good and strong team. We could have won; in football, any result can happen to anyone."
