President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to South Africa as part of the G20 Leaders' Summit. The meeting addressed Turkey-France bilateral relations, regional, and global issues.
EMPHASIS ON GAZA IN THE MEETING
During the meeting, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of maintaining a ceasefire in Gaza, the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region, and that lasting peace can only be achieved through a two-state solution. Erdoğan also stated that all diplomatic means should be utilized to bring a fair and lasting end to the Ukraine-Russia war.
