Turkey mourned baby Sıla, who lost her life due to sexual abuse, as another abuse news emerged. The mother and father of a 9-month-old baby boy, who was allegedly sexually abused in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ, were arrested.

In the Veliköy neighborhood, after mother F.G. shared a video recording of G.Ş. sexually abusing their 9-month-old baby, someone reported the situation to the security forces. Following the report, the Çerkezköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the matter.

PARENTS ARRESTED, BABY UNDER STATE PROTECTION

As part of the investigation, the District Gendarmerie Command teams arrested mother F.G. in Amasya and father G.Ş. in Istanbul. The suspects, brought to Çerkezköy, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie. The suspects were arrested by the court they were brought before. The baby was placed under state protection.
