In a statement by the Directorate General of Coastal Safety, it was stated, 'According to information received from the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services Center; ship traffic on the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions due to the south-to-north strait passage of the cable laying vessel named Castorone, which is 373 meters long.'
