SALARY AND BONUS DISPUTE BROUGHT TO COURT

The dispute over salary and contract-related issues between Kylian Mbappe, who transferred to Real Madrid for free in the summer of 2024 after leaving PSG, was taken to court. The decision in the case between the parties was made by the French Labor Court.

61 MILLION EURO PAYMENT DECISION

The court ruled that Paris Saint-Germain must pay Kylian Mbappe 55 million euros. With the addition of holiday pay, the total payment amount reached 61 million euros. It was stated that this amount consisted of unpaid salaries and bonuses for the period from April to June 2024.

HIGH COMPENSATION CLAIMS REJECTED

The 26-year-old star footballer had claimed a total compensation exceeding 260 million euros from his former club for wrongful termination, signing bonuses, and various other items. PSG had also filed a counterclaim against Mbappe for 440 million euros. The court rejected both parties' additional claims.
