Dilan Polat, a social media influencer undergoing psychological treatment, was attacked by gunfire in front of the hospital, where his bodyguard Alper Ç. was present. The bodyguard, who was hit by three bullets, was taken to the hospital where the incident occurred. It was reported that he is not in life-threatening condition and his health is good.
The incident occurred in the morning in front of the main entrance of the hospital. A person or persons, whose identity has not yet been determined, opened fire on Alper Ç., who was waiting in front of the hospital, and fled the scene. Security personnel and citizens in the vicinity immediately reported the situation to the police and medical teams.
Polat expressed his reaction to the attack and his concerns about his own safety in a statement on his social media account, saying, "My bodyguard friend was shot with three bullets. I have also been threatened multiple times."
After the attack, a person alleged to be a member of the criminal group known as "Daltons" claimed in a social media post that the bodyguard was "not shot with three, but seven bullets." Following this post, attention turned once again to the mentioned gang. An investigation has been initiated by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident. Security forces are examining security cameras around the hospital and the statements of eyewitnesses to identify the attacker or attackers.
