Sinan Akçıl's strong statement: I won't let anyone harm Ebru, the art community is cowardly.

Sinan Akçıl commented on the claims that Ebru Gündeş received 69 million lira from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality as part of the Republic Day events. Akçıl stated that Ebru Gündeş's performance fee is 150,000 dollars and that she earned 4 million 750 thousand lira from the concert. He added, "I won't let anyone undermine Ebru. Everyone's performance fee is known. The art community has buried its head in the sand."

The claims that Ebru Gündeş received 69 million lira from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality as part of the Republic Day events had a wide echo in the music community. After the claims received backlash on social media, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş issued a statement saying, "The exact amount is not 69 million lira, it is '44 million 937 thousand 117 lira including VAT'."

'I MET WITH EBRU ONE-ON-ONE'

In light of these developments, Sinan Akçıl made statements regarding the issue on Taha Hüseyin Karagöz's YouTube program. Sinan Akçıl, who stated that Ebru Gündeş's stage price is 150 thousand dollars, said, "I won't let anyone take advantage of Ebru! I met with her one-on-one. Everyone's stage price is known. They already received 4 million 750 thousand lira from that concert."

'THEY HAVE BURIED THEIR HEADS IN THE SAND'

Sinan Akçıl, who expressed his frustration with the art community, said, "They have buried their heads in the sand because they are cowardly. They all buy songs from me, but I have no close friendships with any of them. No one comes together to say, 'We don't earn such amounts.' The public thinks that the person they see on stage is making huge amounts of money. There isn't even one-tenth of that money. The stage, the artist, the lighting team, at most 5 million."

'A MAYOR WHO DOES NOT HOLD CONCERTS IS CONDEMNED TO DISAPPEAR'

Sinan Akçıl, who argued that municipal concerts should be held, continued his remarks as follows;

"A mayor who does not hold concerts is condemned to disappear in their district or province. Firstly, it is difficult for a mayor to attract large crowds like concert audiences for a speech. Secondly, young people need morale. Until these inflated prices came to light, municipal concerts had provided a significant advantage for the CHP over the AKP.

We held 12 concerts in Izmir with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. My Izmir concerts are my most crowded concerts. I have never received a concert offer from the Izmir municipality until today. They might be afraid, perhaps the CHP municipalities. I have no neighborhood. My family is a strongly CHP-oriented family. I am a child with a strong affection for the President. I am actually an ideal example. No power can take away the nationalism I feel inside."
