The Istanbul Governorship announced that some roads will be closed tomorrow due to the events for International Women's Day on March 8. The roads to be closed and alternative routes have been determined.
HERE ARE THE ROADS THAT WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
In a statement from the Istanbul Governorship, it was stated that "Entry and exit from Refik Saydam Street to Asmalı Mescit Street, the intersection of Ensiz Street and İlk Belediye Street, the intersection of Balo Street and Turnacıbaşı Street, Sadri Alışık Street to Atıf Yılmaz Street, Yeni Çarşı Street, Kumbaracı Hill, Turnacıbaşı Street, Meşelik Street, and the direction to İstiklal Street from Sadri Alışık Street, the intersection of Yeni Çarşı Street and İstiklal Street will not be allowed to flow into İstiklal Street, and entry traffic from Taksim Tunnel to İstiklal Street will not be permitted, and Tak-I Zafer Street will be closed to traffic" was included.
The statement noted that alternative routes have been determined as İnönü Street, Tarlabaşı Boulevard, Refik Saydam Street, and Meclis-İ Mebusan Street.
