A new application will be implemented in electricity bills starting from January 1st. Accordingly, subscribers consuming 417 kWh of electricity monthly will be able to change their electricity supply company to benefit from more favorable prices with the new year.

Bilal Emin Turan, the Economy Manager of Posta Newspaper, stated that subscribers with an annual consumption of 5000 kWh, which is 417 kWh monthly, can change their electricity supply company.

Turan said, "This corresponds to a bill of approximately 1000 lira, meaning these consumers will now face higher bills. Just like in mobile operators, subscribers will be able to choose their electricity supply companies. Currently, there are over 200 electricity supply companies licensed by EPDK," he said. The subscriber will evaluate the most attractive offer for themselves and determine the new electricity supply company, thus achieving savings. This way, savings of 5% to 10% can be achieved on bills.
