The public opinion poll conducted by ASAL Research with 2,015 people between February 13-21, 2026, stirred the political scene. The responses to the question "If there were a parliamentary election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" revealed that a significant portion of voters has not yet made their decision.
UNDECIDED VOTERS BECAME THE LARGEST PARTY
In the table where undecided voters were not distributed, the percentage of those who said "undecided / will not vote" ranked first at 29.6%. Thus, the undecided voter group rose to become the largest political bloc, surpassing all parties on its own. In the same table, CHP received 23.4% support, while the AK Party received 22.5%. This result indicated the existence of a large pool of undecided voters rather than competition between the two major parties.
WHEN UNDECIDED VOTERS ARE DISTRIBUTED, A TIGHT RACE
In the scenario where undecided voters are proportionally distributed, the picture changed. According to this calculation, CHP ranked first with 33.2%, while the AK Party positioned itself right behind with 32%. The limited difference between the two parties led to comments that the campaign process and the economic agenda could be decisive if the election atmosphere is entered.
According to the distribution scenario, the vote percentages of other parties are as follows:
- CHP: 33.2%
- AK Party: 32%
- DEM Party: 8.8%
- MHP: 8%
- Good Party: 5.7%
- Victory Party: 3.6%
- Key Party: 3.4%
- New Welfare Party: 2.8%
- Turkey Workers' Party: 1.1%
- Others: 1.4%
