In the Gümüşhacıköy district of Amasya, two apprentice motor mechanics, not seeing the receptionist in their school building, showed a bottle of water to the camera and left the money for it. The Gümüşhacıköy Teacher's House shared the footage with the note, "We are proud of the Turkish youth."

Two young apprentices, around 16 years old, working alongside motor mechanics in the Gümüşhacıköy industrial site, took water from the cabinet next to the reception in the Gümüşhacıköy Teacher's House, where they are also receiving training at the Vocational Education Center (MESEM). Noticing that the staff member was absent, Efecan Şekerci and Dağhan Bulut showed a bottle of water to the camera and left 10 TL.

"WE WERE PROUD OF THE TURKISH YOUTH"

To find out who left the money, the officials of the Gümüşhacıköy Teacher's House watched the footage and shared those moments on social media with the note, "We were proud of the Turkish youth. Our MESEM students taking water and leaving the payment while the reception was briefly empty truly made us happy."

"WE LEARNED THIS FROM OUR FAMILY"

Efecan Şekerci, who explained that they are both apprenticing in the industrial site and continuing their education, said, "We were very thirsty. When we realized that the staff member was not there, we showed the money to the security camera and left it. We do not want to take what is not ours. We know what is halal. We learned this from our family. Hopefully, future generations will be like this too." Gümüşhacıköy Teacher's House Director Ali Haydar Kılıç also mentioned that they would treat the students to a meal as a gesture.
