Cem Küçük was a columnist for Türkiye Newspaper and also hosted the morning news program 'Cem Küçük ile Günaydın Türkiye' on TGRT News. He was also a commentator on the program 'Medya Kritik', which aired three days a week.
"I JUST LAUGH OFF WHAT IS WRITTEN"
After his departure, Cem Küçük made a written statement to the public, saying that claims he left the channel due to a post on July 24—'Oh my, some were saying most deputies would stay in CHP. I was saying the majority would move to the new party and act with Özgür Özel. What days those were! Just two months ago'—do not reflect the truth.
In his statement, Küçük used the following expressions:
"We have parted ways with TGRT News and Türkiye Newspaper, where I worked for 10 years and, together with my teammates—from behind the camera to field reporters, each a brand in their field—we have signed many news stories that made an impact. None of what is written about my departure reflects the truth. I just laugh off what is written."

Continuing his statement, Küçük gave messages about his political stance and loyalty to the state, emphasizing his support for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The famous journalist concluded his farewell message with a quote from Caliph Omar and continued his words as follows:
"My faith in our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and his ideal of a 'Great and Powerful Turkey' has never diminished, and it will continue to increase from now on. Because we are here today and gone tomorrow. The ideal of a Great Turkey, which will be a legacy for the future, will continue by being passed down to our children and grandchildren. What matters is the welfare of the nation and the existence of the state. As Caliph Omar said, 'I neither overly grieve nor overly rejoice at what has happened, because only my Lord knows whether good or bad will be beneficial.'"
