A 25-year-old woman, K.A., was found dead in the garden of a girls' student dormitory located in the Dumlupınar neighborhood of Kadıköy. The young woman's body, found on the ground covered in blood by the dormitory staff, was reported to the police. Police and medical teams who arrived at the scene determined that the young woman had lost her life. Police teams are investigating the cause of death in the room on the 5th floor where K.A. was staying.
The incident occurred in the morning at a private higher education girls' dormitory located on Volkan Street in Dumlupınar Neighborhood. According to reports, dormitory staff saw a person lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that 25-year-old K.A. had lost her life. Police teams cordoned off the area where the body was located and evacuated those staying in the dormitory. Crime scene investigation teams conducted work in the room where K.A. stayed and at the site where she fell. Those staying in the dormitory and the staff shed tears. After the investigation at the scene was completed, the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy.
INVESTIGATION RELATED TO THE INCIDENT CONTINUES
Turan Meydan, who lives in the neighborhood where the dormitory is located, said, "In the morning, my friend's wife said there was a girl lying there when she went to pray. This is a girls' dormitory. The police and prosecutor are here conducting an investigation." The police investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
