A 65-year-old passenger on a bus traveling from Istanbul to Samsun was found dead in his seat after the vehicle arrived at Samsun Bus Station.
According to the information obtained, the passenger bus traveling from Istanbul to Samsun arrived at the Samsun Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz Bus Terminal this morning. It was noticed that Metin Altınok (65), who was seated in seat number 33, was motionless.
HIS DEATH WAS CONFIRMED
Metin Altınok, who was thought to be sleeping and was attempted to be awakened by the assistant, did not respond, prompting the dispatch of health teams and police to the scene. Upon inspection, it was determined that Altınok had passed away in his seat.
DEATH CONSIDERED "SUSPICIOUS"
The forensic physician evaluated the individual's death as 'suspicious,' and the lifeless body was sent to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
