The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, congratulated Görkem Sevindik, who plays the character "Kadir Baba" in the series "Eşref Rüya," by calling him on the phone for his post regarding Palestinian prisoners.

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Numan Kurtulmuş, called Görkem Sevindik, who was threatened by Israel's far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir due to his reaction to Israel's death penalty law against Palestinian prisoners.

SCANDALOUS THREAT FROM ISRAELI MINISTER

Actor Görkem Sevindik reacted to Israel's death penalty law by saying, "Please let us not remain silent. If humanity does not rise today, when will it rise? If we cannot show that we are human today, when will we show it?"

Targeting the actor, Israel's far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir threatened the artist in a video he released, saying, "Kadir in the Dream of Eshref. You will never be Kadir Baba. We live in Israel. You can act in a Turkish series. The death penalty is now valid for terrorists."

KURTULMUŞ: THE VOICE OF CONSCIENCES

Kurtulmuş described Sevindik's stance against Israel's practices as "the voice of consciences." Emphasizing that the artist's position is "an important stand for morality and humanity," Kurtulmuş wished Sevindik success in his artistic career.
