Teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who was killed by her student in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, was bid farewell on her final journey in her hometown of Konya, with tears. During the ceremony, a scuffle broke out between Çelik's family and the women who attended the funeral. Those moments were captured on camera.
The funeral of Biology Teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who lost her life due to a knife attack by student F.S.B. (17) on March 2 at Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Çekmeköy, was brought today to the front of Parsana Büyük Mosque in her hometown Konya, where the ceremony will be held.

Çelik's son Kemal hugged his mother's coffin and said goodbye. Çelik's mother Rukiye Çelik also struggled to stand by her daughter's coffin. The ceremony was attended by Konya Governor İbrahim Akın, Deputy Minister of National Education Celile Eren Ökten, city protocol, family, relatives, and colleagues. After the prayer, Çelik's body was buried in Musalla Cemetery amidst tears.
