The second hearing of the case regarding the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz was held at the 2nd Heavy Criminal Court in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul. Tension was palpable in the courtroom; at the end of the hearing, Ayşe Tokyaz's brother, Abdülkadir Tokyaz, stated, "Here, not only Ayşe died, but our family also died." Their mother, Halime Tokyaz, said, "He killed my daughter and then slandered her. In the afterlife, my daughter will hold him accountable. I will too." The court adjourned the hearing until tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

The second hearing of the case regarding the murder of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by 38-year-old former police officer Cemil Koç in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, and whose lifeless body was left in a suitcase by the roadside, was held at the 2nd Heavy Criminal Court in Küçükçekmece Courthouse.

Defendants, including Cemil Koç, and complainants Esra Tokyaz, her mother Halime Tokyaz, and the lawyers of both the complainants and defendants attended the hearing. Hatice Selli Dursun, the President of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Women's Branch, CHP Party Council Member Baran, and many representatives of women's organizations also observed the hearing. The hearing began with the defendants being brought into the courtroom.

THE HEARING STARTED TENSELY

Esra Tokyaz turned to Cemil Koç and said, "Today is your end, Cemil. Ayşe is gone, but Esra is here." In response, Cemil Koç replied, "I will love you all." Tension arose in the courtroom.

The judge asked Cemil Koç about the t-shirt found at the gas station. Cemil Koç stated that he had bought 2-3 t-shirts and claimed that he threw the old t-shirt away at the gas station because it was dirty, saying, "There was no blood stain. If there is, it could be the size of a needle tip. I didn't take any clothes with me when I left home."

Cemil Koç admitted to having a phone conversation with Esra Tokyaz but claimed that the recording was cut and tampered with, stating that he did not accept the use of the conversation as evidence in court.

"I PUT THE BODY IN THE SUITCASE"

Cemil Koç stated that he put the body in the suitcase himself and later gave it to Oğuz Kal, saying, "Oğuz Kal said, 'The suitcase is very heavy.' I told him not to open it." Oğuz Kal then stood up and said, "I did not say the suitcase was heavy."

After Cemil Koç, Oğuz Kal took the stand. In his defense, Oğuz Kal said, "He called me from an unregistered number. He said, 'I will go abroad, will you pick me up?' and sent me his location. It was my first time. I asked about the suitcases. He put the suitcase in the car himself."

MOTHER HALİME TOKYAZ FAINTED

During Necmettin Ecer's defense, Ayşe Tokyaz's mother, Halime Tokyaz, fainted. In response, her daughter Esra Tokyaz reacted by saying, "May God give you all your due. Since this morning, you have been saying 'I don't know' to the questions. Don't you know?"

Necmettin Ecer claimed in his defense that he did not know there was a body in the suitcase, stating, "If I had known, I would not have accepted it. We agreed on a total of 500,000 TL at 100,000 TL per person. Cemil told me not to open the suitcase. He said there were historical artifacts inside."

"NOT ONLY AYŞE DIED HERE, OUR FAMILY DIED TOO"

After the defendants' defenses, Ayşe Tokyaz's brother, Abdülkadir Tokyaz, spoke, saying, "I am complaining about everyone mentioned in the case. The lawyers of the opposing side should also put their hands on their conscience. We have been devastated as a family. How could they take a person's life for money? Not only did Ayşe die here, but our family died too. My sister Esra is afraid to be left alone. She has all sorts of nightmares. I saw my decayed body. My sister used to smell like a rose. As soon as the morgue opened, the smell hit my face. They should all be judged in the harshest way. No one would agree to carry a suitcase for 100,000 TL. How can you not smell it? If someone offers us 100,000-500,000 TL, one would think there is something wrong with this job.."

"EVERYTHING CEMIL SAID IS A LIE"

Ayşe Tokyaz's sister, Kübra Tokyaz, said, "We couldn't even grieve our pain. Cemil Koç tried to separate us from our brother. He held him captive. Everything Cemil said is a lie. He deceived him. He played with his emotions."

"IN THE AFTERLIFE, MY DAUGHTER WILL ASK HIM FOR ACCOUNT, AND I WILL TOO"

Mother Halime Tokyaz said as her final words: "He used to say he would ask for Ayşe from you. He said Ayşe was a very lady-like girl. He killed my daughter and then slandered her. In the afterlife, my daughter will ask him for account. I will too. Ayşe was innocent. He used to say he loved Ayşe, now he is slandering her. I couldn't bear to comb my daughter's hair."

"ESRA TOKYAZ THREW A WATER BOTTLE AT CEMIL KOÇ"

When Halime Tokyaz had difficulty speaking, Esra Tokyaz threw a plastic water bottle at Cemil Koç, reacting by saying, "You made this woman this way." The court adjourned the hearing until tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
