Tension over 'single list' at the AK Party congress in Sivas.

The 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress of the AK Party was held at the 4 September Indoor Sports Hall.

MINISTER BAYRAKTAR ALSO ATTENDED

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, AK Party Group Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Abdullah Güler, and former TBMM Chairman İsmet Yılmaz also attended the congress.

THE SINGLE LIST CREATED TENSION

During the congress, two separate lists were presented to the council. One of these lists was prepared by the current provincial chairman Yusuf Tanrıverdi, while the other was prepared by Mustafa Taki Doğruyol. However, the council only accepted Yusuf Tanrıverdi's list for the election agenda and rejected the other list. This situation led to tension at the congress and caused reactions from the delegates.
