In an automobile accident that occurred in the Torul district of Gümüşhane, an elderly couple lost their lives and 3 people were injured. Following the accident, transportation was provided in a single lane under control, and an investigation was initiated.

SIDE COLLISION WITH THE CAR

The accident happened in the morning hours in Köprübaşı neighborhood of Torul district in Gümüşhane. According to the information obtained, the car with the license plate number 29 DB 001, driven by R.K., collided with the car with the license plate number 29 DA 474, which was trying to enter the Köprübaşı neighborhood intersection.

ELDERLY COUPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

The vehicles were dragged for meters due to the impact of the collision. Upon the notification, 112 emergency health, police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Münevver Yalçın, 70 years old, who was in the car with the license plate number 29 DA 474, lost her life at the scene of the incident, as a result of the initial intervention made by the 112 emergency health teams. Veysel Yalçın (72), who was also in the same car, was seriously injured and taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital, while Tolgahan Yalçın, Tunahan Yalçın, and İlker Yalçın, who were passengers in the car, were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Veysel Yalçın, who was seriously injured and taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital, lost his life despite all the interventions made there.
