Terrifying Detail in the Sexual Abuse Incident Involving a 2-Year-Old Baby! Couldn't Wake Up for Days.

The incident in which a 2-year-old girl in Malkara district of Tekirdağ was beaten and sexually abused, it was learned that the mother took the baby to the hospital because she was "not waking up". Details are beginning to emerge in the investigation into the incident, in which 5 people, including the baby's mother, were arrested.

BRUISES IN THE GENITAL AREA

According to the information received, the mother B.Y took her 2-year-old daughter S.Y to Malkara State Hospital 3 days after the incident, stating that she did not wake up. The doctor who examined little S.Y reported the situation to the police after seeing bruises in the baby's genital area, and an investigation was launched. The baby, who was referred from Malkara State Hospital to Tekirdağ Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital with suspicion of brain hemorrhage, was taken to the intensive care unit after brain surgery, and it was stated that S.Y's condition was stable but serious.

RESIDENTS FEEL GREAT SHAME AND SORROW

In the investigation, it was learned that the mother B.Y, who was arrested, stated in her testimony at the prosecutor's office that "on September 5th, their neighbor's son K.A invited them to dinner by saying that they were making pasta, she left her baby S.Y with their neighbors and returned home herself, she went to pick up S.Y in the evening, she realized that her daughter was harmed after seeing blood on her diaper while giving her a bath, but she covered it up so that no one would hear about it."

Officials from the Provincial Health Directorate stated that the little girl also suffered a blow to her head on September 8th, the day she was brought to the hospital, and therefore had a brain hemorrhage. Recai Öztürk, the muhtar of Camiatik Neighborhood where the incident took place, said that a sad and shameful incident happened on behalf of the neighborhood.

Öztürk expressed that they felt ashamed on behalf of the people of Malkara because of this situation. Öztürk claimed that the family to whom the baby was entrusted had problems and stated the following: "The family was a bit problematic, I'm talking about the family to whom the little child was entrusted. The mother took her youngest son and went to a town in Aegean, got married there. She left her 3 children, her husband, and our elderly grandmother here and left. The children were living here, and we fought to entrust this family to social services and send them to live there. The grandmother didn't want to go. We tried many times, but it didn't work. We said, 'Let's send the children to child care homes.' The father said, 'No, I won't give my children, I will take care of them.' This family was such a family. They were not a very healthy family. I don't know anything about the baby's family. I have no information about them."

In the investigation, the mother B.Y, B.Y's partner S.Ö, their neighbor K.A, and K.A's 13-year-old son and G.K, who is 14 years old, were detained, and the suspects were arrested by the judge they were referred to.

Egemen Gürcün, the President of Tekirdağ Bar Association, stated that it was determined by the forensic medicine report that the 2-year-old girl who was brought to the hospital due to the beating was sexually abused.
