In the human trafficking and organized crime case against music producer Sean "Diddy" Combs, a raid on his mansion in Florida uncovered a wide range of evidence, from sex toys to gun parts, drugs, and personal messages. According to prosecutors, Combs ran an organized crime network that, with the help of his employees, drugged women and forced them into sexual exploitation for over a decade.
In the human trafficking and organized crime case against Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is being tried in Manhattan, prosecutors directed the jury with items seized during a raid at his mansion in Florida in March 2024. During the raid, in which agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) broke down the front door with an armored vehicle, federal authorities uncovered numerous illegal and attention-grabbing materials.
Among the items seized during the raid were disassembled AR-15 semi-automatic rifles, drugs such as cocaine and ketamine, lingerie, seven-inch platform heels, and dozens of bottles of baby oil. Prosecutors stated that this evidence shed light on the organized crime network allegedly run by Combs and the sexual abuse allegations.
Raids on Combs' homes in Miami Beach and Los Angeles were broadcast live by some television channels, keeping the public informed about the ongoing criminal investigation into the music star.
NOTABLE DETAILS IN THE MANSION Images showed sex toys, red and black stiletto heels, lingerie, and lace nightgowns in the closets of Combs' bedroom. Additionally, there were 25 bottles of baby oil and 30 bottles of personal lubricant. "Food-grade" nitrous oxide (Whip-Its) canisters were also found.
The photos also included parts of an AR-15 semi-automatic weapon, a handgun, and .45 caliber bullets. Agent Gannon stated that many drugs, including MDMA, cocaine, and ketamine, were found in the house.
MESSAGES WRITTEN ON THE MIRROR CAUGHT ATTENTION Motivational writings on the mirror in Combs' marble bathroom were also documented with photos. The mirror had phrases like "You are a legend," "You are an icon Puff Daddy," and "Move Up."
TESTIMONY ABOUT PSYCHOLOGIST VENTURA The prosecution also heard from forensic psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes, who previously testified in Amber Heard's case against Johnny Depp. Hughes noted that many victims, like key witness Cassie Ventura, often remain in abusive relationships due to "love" and struggle to break the cycle of violence.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION AT TWO HOMES The operation on March 24 was not limited to the mansion in Miami Beach. On the same day, a raid was also conducted at Combs' luxury Holmby Hills residence in Los Angeles. Gannon stated that the front door of the Miami house was broken down with an armored vehicle. According to prosecutors, 55-year-old Sean "Diddy" Combs ran an organized crime network for over a decade with the help of his employees. Allegations suggest that Combs forced heavily drugged women to have sexual relations with male escorts, recording these moments for his own viewing and satisfaction.
Prosecutors state that these actions are part of a large-scale criminal organization involving serious crimes such as human trafficking, sexual abuse, and drug use. If Combs is convicted on all charges, he could face a sentence ranging from 15 years to life in prison. Diddy is currently on trial for serious charges including human trafficking, promoting prostitution, and forming a criminal organization. Combs, who denies all charges, is being closely watched by the media and the public.
