Altay, one of Izmir's long-established clubs, made a change to its planned training program as part of new season preparations. The black-and-white team did not take to the field on the scheduled date and postponed its first training session to a later date.
The tough process continues for Altay, one of the teams in Group 2 of the TFF 3rd League. The black-and-white club, which has not yet taken official steps regarding incorporation, is having difficulty retaining its squad players due to financial troubles.
START DATE FOR TRAININGS POSTPONED AGAIN
As the uncertainty in the management persists, preparations for the new season have also been disrupted, and the A team's start date for trainings has been postponed once again. It has been reported that Altay, which was expected to take the field at its facilities today, will begin work after the management's decision to be made in the coming days.
FINAL DECISION NO LATER THAN FRIDAY
At the Izmir representative, where President Sinan Kanlı is preparing to step down, a working group within an Istanbul-based holding that is aspiring to take over the management will make its final decision no later than Friday. The group, which will take over the management if sufficient budget is secured, will determine the technical team and ensure the team returns to the field. If the process results negatively, the possibility of appointing a trustee for Altay's management will come to the agenda.
