Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, one of the candidates for the presidency of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), announced that he will not withdraw his candidacy and that there is no problem with the signatures. Haciosmanoglu said, "We will definitely not withdraw our candidacy and we will go all the way. We have collected over 100 signatures." Speaking about the candidates who withdrew their candidacy, Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu said, "We have never and will never reverse in our lives. Let it be known. They can withdraw, but we will continue our path."
A few days before the TFF General Assembly on July 18, Servet Yardımcı, who had previously announced his candidacy for president, announced in a written statement that he withdrew his candidacy. In light of these developments, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, who has attracted attention, spoke to Haber Global about his candidacy.

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu stated that what he said about Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç is in the past, saying, "We are coming to open a completely clean page in Turkish football. You will see that Turkish football will change with us. What I said about Ali Koç before is behind us. There is no need to reopen those books. We are coming to manage Turkish football in a peaceful environment, not to fight with anyone."

WHEN IS THE ELECTION?
In an announcement made by the Turkish Football Federation in April, it was stated that the TFF Ordinary General Assembly meeting, which should be held by July 31, will be held on July 18, 2024, taking into account the participation of the Turkish National Football Team in the EURO 2024 Finals and the start and end dates of the tournament. The TFF Presidency election will be held on Thursday, July 18.
