A 16-year-old girl living in the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak gave birth to a stillborn baby after being admitted to the hospital due to abdominal pain. While the child was taken for treatment, an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.

B.T., a 16-year-old girl from the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak, presented to Çaycuma State Hospital with complaints of severe abdominal pain.

STILLBIRTH OCCURRED

However, upon examination, it was determined that B.T. was pregnant and experiencing labor pains. The girl was urgently taken into surgery, where it was found that her baby had died in the womb. After the birth, the hospital staff monitored B.T.'s health condition.

The hospital management reported the situation to the gendarmerie following the incident. Upon notification, the Çaycuma District Gendarmerie Command teams came to the hospital and initiated an investigation. While B.T.'s statement was taken, the Public Prosecutor's Office also launched an investigation into the incident.
