The 17-year-old İpek, who fell from the 9th floor, was laid to rest.

The 12th-grade student İpek Fidan, who lost her life after falling from the 9th floor window of a 10-story building in Kayseri, was bid farewell on her final journey.

AUTOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED

The incident occurred yesterday around 5:00 PM in the 9th floor of a 10-story building in the Erciyesevler neighborhood of Kocasinan district. İpek Fidan fell from the window of her room on the 9th floor for an unknown reason. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification from the surrounding people. Medical teams took the severely injured Fidan to Erciyes University Medical Faculty Hospital. Fidan could not be saved. İpek Fidan's body was taken to the morgue of Kayseri State Hospital for autopsy.

INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

After the autopsy procedures were completed, Fidan's body was received by her family and brought to Hulusi Akar Mosque. Many people, including Fidan's family, relatives, teachers, and school friends, attended the funeral. The funeral of 12th-grade student Fidan was buried in the City Cemetery after the prayer. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
