An incident occurred in the İnegöl district of Bursa, where a 71-year-old man, who was alleged to have attempted to abduct a child going to school on his bicycle, was caught by police teams.

CITIZENS INTERVENED

The incident took place in front of a school in the Mesudiye neighborhood of İnegöl. The 71-year-old elderly man named Ferruh B., who was waiting in front of the school, tried to take away the 6-year-old child named D.A. by getting him on his bicycle. Citizens who witnessed the incident stopped the elderly man and took the child from him. The elderly man fled on his bicycle. Police teams who arrived at the scene quickly caught the fleeing elderly man and detained him.

HE WAS ARRESTED

The man, who stated in his testimony, "I was going to take the child to school," was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.
