The number of applications for TOKİ's "Century Housing Project," which has implemented 500,000 social housing units in 81 provinces, has reached 5 million 440 thousand. Applications will close this week, and the rights holders will be determined by the lottery drawn starting from December 29.
The "Century Housing Project," implemented by TOKİ under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, has attracted significant interest. Applications, which started on November 10, quickly reached 5 million 440 thousand. A total of 500 thousand social housing units are planned to be built across 81 provinces as part of the project.
APPLICATIONS END THIS WEEK
Applications for social housing will end on December 18 through e-Government, and on December 19 through branches of Ziraat Bank, Halk Bank, and Emlak Katılım Bankası. After the completion of applications, the draws to determine the rights holders will start on December 29 and continue until February 27.
HOUSING TYPES AND SALES CONDITIONS
In the campaign conducted under the slogan "Homeowner Turkey," the houses will be offered for sale with a 10% down payment and payment options of up to 240 months. Within the project, 40% of the houses will consist of 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters, 30% will be 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters, and the remaining 30% will be 1+1 apartments of 55 square meters.
PRICES AND INSTALLMENTS ANNOUNCED
In Anatolian provinces, 1+1 apartments will be available starting from 1 million 800 thousand lira, 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters from 2 million 200 thousand lira, and 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters from 2 million 650 thousand lira. In Istanbul, prices are set at 1 million 950 thousand lira for 1+1, 2 million 450 thousand lira for 2+1 of 65 square meters, and 2 million 950 thousand lira for 2+1 of 80 square meters. Installments will start from 6 thousand 750 lira and can go up to 11 thousand 63 lira, depending on the city and type of housing.
WHO HAS BEEN ALLOCATED QUOTAS?
5% of the rights holders will be allocated to the families of martyrs and veterans, 5% to the disabled, 20% to retirees, 10% to families with three or more children, and 20% to young people aged 18-30, while the remaining 40% quota will be allocated to other applicants.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Those who wish to benefit from the project must be at least 18 years old and have been a citizen of the Republic of Turkey for at least 10 years. The net income limit for households is set at 145 thousand lira in Istanbul and 127 thousand lira in other provinces. Applicants must not have a registered independent property in their name or in the name of family members, nor have a contract with TOKİ.
