A woman working in a cafeteria in Fatih Silivrikapı was attacked by her ex-boyfriend with a utility knife. While the woman was injured in the chest and face, the attacker also injured another cafe employee who tried to stop him. Later, the attacker, who injured himself in the throat, was persuaded by the police and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

HE CUT HIS OWN THROAT

The incident occurred around 3:00 PM at a cafeteria in Silivrikapı neighborhood. It was learned that Metin A., the ex-boyfriend of A.B., who works at the cafeteria, came here and attacked A.B. with a utility knife. While the woman was injured in the chest and face, a cafe employee named A.N.D., who tried to stop the attacker, was also injured in the shoulder. Upon notification, police and medical teams arrived at the scene. During this time, the attacker Metin A. injured his own throat.

POLICE PERSUADED HIM TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL

Metin A., who threatened those around him with the utility knife for a while, was later persuaded by police teams and taken to the hospital by ambulance. The injured A.B. and A.N.D. were also taken to Okmeydanı Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital for precautionary measures after the first interventions at the scene. It was learned that the suspect Metin A. would be detained after his treatment at the hospital was completed.
