After the murder of an uncle and his nephew in a forested area in Zonguldak, gendarmerie teams are continuing their extensive investigation. While the statements of 6 suspects related to the incident are ongoing at the gendarmerie, the funerals of the uncle and nephew, whose autopsy procedures have been completed, have been buried. The previous night, 46-year-old Yüksel Kürekçi and his 60-year-old uncle Hayrettin Çorukcu were shot with a shotgun in a forested area in the village of Bılık, connected to the Devrek district. When relatives went to the forested area due to the lack of news, they found the uncle and nephew shot. Upon receiving the notification, teams were dispatched to the scene, while uncle Çorukcu died at the scene, and nephew Kürekçi passed away at Devrek State Hospital. Teams affiliated with the Provincial Gendarmerie Command have launched an extensive operation to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators of the incident. In the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecutor, the questioning of Yüksel Kürekçi's wife N.K., daughter S.K., son B.D.K., and Ç.S., Ö.Y., B.Ü. at the gendarmerie is ongoing. GENDARMERIE IS ON DUTY AT THE CRIME SCENEThe funerals of Çorukcu and Kürekçi, whose autopsy procedures were completed at Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital, were brought to the Bılık Village Central Neighborhood Mosque after the autopsy procedures. A funeral ceremony was held here following the noon prayer. Gendarmerie teams stood guard during the funeral ceremony. The funerals of the uncle and nephew were buried after the funeral prayers were performed in turn. The investigation by the gendarmerie teams regarding the double murder, the cause of which is still unknown, is ongoing. The crime scene is also cordoned off with tape, while gendarmerie teams continue their duty at the scene.
