The body was found in the refrigerator of the boat! The death of the 24-year-old woman revealed a forbidden love affair.

During the patrol of the Coast Guard teams affiliated with the Coast Guard Command in the fisherman's harbor in Karşıyaka, İzmir, a lifeless body was found in the refrigerator of a boat. During the incident, the teams followed the reaction of the cadaver dog and saw a hand coming out of the refrigerator. Later, security forces were dispatched to the area.

When the refrigerator was opened under the supervision of the prosecutor who arrived at the scene, it was seen that there was a corpse belonging to a woman with a fetus-like body integrity. The Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch determined that the body belonged to Hilmiye Tuğba Esgin, 24 years old, after conducting an examination. After the work of the prosecutor and the İzmir Police Department Crime Scene Investigation Branch teams, Esgin's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute.

BOAT OWNER, WIFE, AND ANOTHER PERSON TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

It was determined that the young woman with signs of assault and injury on her head was killed by drowning during the examination. The Homicide Bureau teams, who started an investigation after Esgin's death, took into custody 3 suspects, including the boat owner Şenol A., his wife Belgin A., and another person connected to the boat.

INCONSISTENT INFORMATION GIVEN DURING INTERROGATION

According to Mustafa Şekeroğlu's report from Habertürk; during the interrogation, it was observed that Şenol A. gave inconsistent information. The suspect, who was revealed to have had a forbidden relationship with the young girl, first claimed that he slapped the young girl and she fell to the ground and hit her head with this slap. However, he later gave different information during the interrogation.

FORBIDDEN LOVE AFFAIR BEHIND THE MURDER

As the investigation coordinated by the Karşıyaka Chief Public Prosecutor's Office progressed, details about the incident where inconsistent information was given started to emerge. In the police investigation, it was revealed that Hilmiye Tuğba Esgin was the girlfriend of the boat owner Şenol A. The unemployed young girl was staying with the suspect to avoid staying with her sister. Allegedly, Belgin A. became aware of her husband Şenol A.'s relationship with Hilmiye Tuğba Esgin. After this incident, Esgin was killed by drowning.

THEY WERE GOING TO THROW THE BODY INTO THE SEA

Meanwhile, it was learned that K.B.Ö., who was called to the boat after the incident and taken into custody, was a mechanic. According to allegations, Şenol A. and his wife were going to take the boat out to sea after repairing it to get rid of the body. After their official statements were taken, the 3 suspects will be referred to the courthouse today.
