A man who went to pick up his wife, with whom he had a fight, from his twin brother's house in Şişli, Istanbul, was shot by his brother-in-law. The man, who was taken to the hospital, lost his life, while the moment his brother-in-law fled after the incident was recorded by security cameras.

SHOT HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET

The incident occurred around 8:00 PM in the İnönü neighborhood of Şişli. According to allegations, Sevgi Ç (35) had a fight with her husband Ejder Ç (34) and left the house to go to her twin brother's house. Ejder Ç then went to his brother-in-law's house to bring his wife back home. A dispute broke out between Ejder Ç and his wife's twin brother, Suat S. During the argument, Suat S. fired a gun at Ejder Ç's body.

DIED

After the incident, Ejder Ç was seriously injured. Upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Ejder Ç, who received first aid at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. However, despite all the interventions, Ejder Ç could not be saved and lost his life.

Suat S., who fled after the incident, was captured and taken into custody following the work of the police teams. In his first statement to the police, Suat S. said, "He was treating my sister badly, he was drinking a lot," and it was learned that he had 25 criminal records.
