Turkey has initiated efforts to rebuild the Syrian army, which is under threat from Israel. Following the signing of a military training and consultancy agreement between the two countries, cooperation has accelerated. The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) will provide Syrian soldiers with the same commando and infantry training given to Turkish soldiers. Turkey plans to establish a military academy and a non-commissioned officer school in Syria.

After the military training and consultancy agreement signed between Turkey and Syria, the cooperation process is gaining momentum. According to the news by Canberk Doğan from Yeni Şafak, the details of the agreement made between the two countries have emerged. As part of the training program, Syrian soldiers will come to Turkey to receive training from the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). Commando and infantry training will also be included in this training. The Syrian soldiers who will undergo training will later be trained by the TSK in their own countries.
A WAR SCHOOL AND NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER SCHOOL WILL BE ESTABLISHED
Turkey plans to establish a war school and a non-commissioned officer school in Syria, similar to the model implemented in Somalia and Libya. Thus, Syrian soldiers will receive training both in Turkey and in their own countries. Recently, commanders from Syria visited the Army, Navy, and Air Force military academies in Turkey. In this context, a quota will be allocated for military students from the Syrian army to be accepted into the war schools and non-commissioned officer schools. The Syrian military students who will receive training will return to their countries to serve after graduation.
THERE IS A TRAINING CENTER IN SERINYOL
Sources stated, "Like in Somalia and Libya, we will also train regular soldiers. We will train them both there and here. There are currently soldiers undergoing training in certain areas. While training the Free Syrian Army (FSA), we had established a training center in Serinyol (Hatay). They stayed in the same place, ate in the same place, drank, and trained there. We will try to provide as much training as we can here as well," he said.
THEY WILL RECEIVE TRAINING AT THE SAME TIME AS TURKISH SOLDIERS
According to the information obtained, the training will be conducted in a disciplined manner. Syrian soldiers will receive training within a closed system during their stay in Turkey. In this context, the Syrian soldiers who will receive commando and infantry training provided by the TSK in Turkey will train alongside Turkish soldiers for the same duration.
HIGH-LEVEL CONTACTS WILL INCREASE
In the upcoming period, high-level contacts with Syria will also increase. It is expected that the commanders of the Syrian Naval and Air Forces will come to Turkey soon to discuss joint training and scheduling issues. On the other hand, Turkey is ready to establish a joint training center very quickly if an invitation is received from Syria. In this context, the TSK has its plans ready and is only waiting for Syria's invitation.
