The brother who stabbed his sister during a fight jumped from the fifth floor and committed suicide.

On the evening of November 20 in Ankara, around 19:00, an incident occurred in Çankaya. According to the information received, a fight broke out between the sister Y.B.D. and her brother E.Ş. (25), who lived in the same house, for an unknown reason. As the fight escalated, E.Ş. attacked his sister with a knife, injuring her in the throat. After the attack, E.Ş. jumped from the balcony of his fifth-floor apartment, and it was determined by the health teams dispatched to the area upon notification that he had died. The seriously injured sister Y.B.D. was taken to the hospital after the first intervention. While E.Ş.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution after the examinations, the police teams launched an investigation into the incident.

Speaking about the incident, neighbor Rabia Gündüz said: "From what I heard, the sister and brother were having dinner. A fight broke out between them. The brother stabbed his sister and then jumped down. We learned that the stabbed woman is in intensive care. The attacker sometimes walked his dog. We would encounter each other at those times. From what I observed, they were polite people. I had never witnessed any fights before. The jumping attacker fell in front of a shop. People around called the health teams. He died during the intervention," she said.
