The businessman whose private property was devastated by the municipality shared his experiences with Haberler.com.

New World manager and fashion designer Hacere Orhan was a guest of Melis Yaşar, the moderator of the program published on Haberler.com. Orhan shared for the first time the grievances he experienced after the municipal teams entered his private property with bulldozers and devastated it before a wedding with 700 guests in Gaziosmanpaşa.

"FIRST THEY GAVE PERMISSION AND THEN MADE A REPORT"

Orhan stated that they were told they had to vacate the place in a very short time and that they took the matter to court, saying, "We said at least let’s open at a certain time and close at a certain time for the people who had already received invitations. They reluctantly gave permission for one of them. Then they still sent the inspectors and made a report. I went through an unimaginable 24 hours at the wedding a week later."

"BULLDOZERS INVADED THE VENUE 5 HOURS BEFORE THE WEDDING"

Orhan conveyed that the wedding hosts told him they had received permission from the mayor, saying, "Five hours before the wedding, we saw that they placed stones at the entrance of the wedding venue with bulldozers. We all went to Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality together. I begged the mayor for hours, asking for a three-hour extension. They said, 'You are operating without a license; you must leave. It is absolutely not allowed.' I told the family, 'I’m sorry. As you can see, they are mobbing me through you right now.'"

"WE PREPARED THE VENUE FOR 750 PEOPLE IN AN HOUR"

Orhan reported that the mayor later allowed the wedding to take place, saying, "When I arrived at the venue, the wedding hosts said, 'Where are the inspectors? They haven’t removed the stones.' I replied, 'Did you really believe this? No promise has ever been kept.' I said, 'I cannot open this seal.' The wedding hosts opened the seal and entered, saying, 'They promised us.' I said, 'If I hadn’t served them from that moment on, it would have truly resulted in a disaster. Instead of employing 20 waiters, I employed 65. We prepared the venue for 750 people within an hour. We cried inside and made it to 02:30.' "

"I THREW MYSELF UNDER THE BULLDOZER"

Orhan stated that he went back to the venue after receiving a phone call as soon as he returned home, saying that the municipal teams were digging the road with bulldozers. Orhan said, "It doesn’t matter if the bulldozer destroys the venue. When I saw them digging the roads, I lost my humanity. I threw myself under the bulldozer."

"I AM UNDER THREAT"

Orhan expressed that he receives numerous phone calls and threats every day, saying, "I am currently under threat. You may hear very different news about me one day."

"LET OUR CONTRACTS BE COMPLETED"

Orhan, who stated that he could not understand why his name was mentioned in the statement made by the Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality regarding the issue, addressed the authorities, saying:

"My esteemed state officials, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, my esteemed mayor, let’s walk through this process together. Even if you want, we will not stop there. As long as our promised contracts are completed. May no one’s dreams be shattered."
