The horrific accident that occurred at the Miraflores Shopping Center in Guatemala's capital was captured by security cameras. The incident, which took place on Sunday, involved a vehicle that lost control in the upper-level parking lot, crashing into a wall at high speed before falling four stories down.

Joel Abelino Pereira Cruz, a witness to the event, stated, "We were shopping with my family, and the accident happened right next to us. The vehicle fell just 10 meters away from where I was standing."

The footage shows the vehicle crashing to the ground amidst a thick cloud of dust while people on the upper and lower levels continued their daily routines. As terrified witnesses rushed to the scene, the shopping center was filled with debris.

Heart-wrenching images depict a crowd gathered in shock around the overturned vehicle. Some people are seen embracing each other in disbelief, while moments of a woman in pain in her lower body being carried by others and then breaking down in tears were also captured on camera.

According to Fox 11, the driver miraculously survived the accident, while a 22-year-old convenience store employee lost their life. The driver's condition is reported to be stable after being taken to the hospital, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
