A 15-year-old boy, who locked the front door of his house to prevent his family from going outside, was hospitalized after jumping from the balcony on the second floor to escape from home.

The incident occurred in the Kılıçdede neighborhood of İlkadım district in Samsun. According to the information obtained, the family of a 15-year-old boy named H.I.A., who is of Syrian nationality, locked the front door to prevent him from leaving the house, thinking that his friends might have bad habits. Meanwhile, H.I.A., who was at home with his sister and other siblings, jumped down from the balcony on the second floor to escape.

The injured boy was taken to Samsun Training and Research Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The injured boy's siblings stated that their family locked the front door to prevent him from escaping, but he got injured when he jumped to escape from the balcony. H.I.A. claimed that he jumped after his falling clothes. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
