DMM DENIED

In a statement made by the Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) under the Presidency's Communication Directorate, it was stated that President Erdoğan did not call Israeli officials. The statement reminded that the Israeli media claimed, "Turkey has communicated with its counterparts through communication channels, including the IDF and security units."

"NO STEP HAS BEEN TAKEN TO IMPROVE RELATIONS"

In the statement, it was noted that some media outlets in Turkey distorted this baseless claim by reporting it as "Erdoğan called Israel." It was recorded: "Thus, another false news has been produced based on an incorrect news. Due to Israel's genocidal policies in Gaza, relations between Turkey and Israel have been completely severed. No step has been taken to improve relations in the future. Turkey continues to stand by the just cause of the Palestinian people. Please do not give credence to baseless claims."
