The commander of the lieutenants whose expulsion from the army was requested has been dismissed from duty.

After the graduation ceremony of the Military Academy, which was also attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, five lieutenants, including the top graduate Ebru Eroğlu, who chanted the slogan "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal," were referred to the High Disciplinary Board; a disciplinary investigation was also initiated against the Deputy Battalion Commander, the Company Commander, and the Platoon Commander who were on duty during the graduation ceremony for not taking the necessary precautions before the ceremony and for not intervening during the action.

FAREWELL MESSAGE CAUGHT ATTENTION

While the discussion regarding the lieutenants continued, a significant development occurred. Journalist Barış Terkoğlu stated in a television program that the Company Commander Major S.I. at the Artillery School had been dismissed.

Terkoğlu noted that Major S.I. was dismissed on the grounds of supporting the lieutenants and was assigned to a position that had not been filled for years. He wrote that Major S.I. bid farewell with a message full of sentiment and left the common groups.

According to Terkoğlu, the major wrote the following:

"As of now, I have been assigned to ... I evaluate and know that the reason is related to the situation with the lieutenants. There was an assessment by the command that I supported the lieutenants and congratulated them. I want it to be known that... I shout from here. I was a soldier of Mustafa Kemal, his comrades, and all the martyrs of the National Struggle before the lieutenants, and I am still a soldier of Mustafa Kemal, his comrades, and all the martyrs of the National Struggle. I did not know that following in the footsteps of those who established this homeland and entrusted it to us would lead to this. If I had known, I would do it again. I will not deviate from my line for a moment.
