While millions of retirees eagerly await the January 2026 raise, banks have intensified their promotional wars. The promotional amounts have reached up to 60,000 TL with additional conditions. SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Pension Fund retirees are focused on the raise rate to be announced for the year 2026. Banks, on the other hand, have intensified the competition for promotions before the salary increase.
