The dispute over inheritance among siblings in Menzil Village, located in the Kahta district of Adıyaman, continues. Recently, the Serhendi Group intervened when the Semerkand Group wanted to construct a part of the Menzil Mosque in the village. A stone and stick fight broke out between the groups of siblings. Some members of the congregation were injured in the fight. A large number of gendarmerie were sent to the village.

"THEY URINATED IN THE MOSQUE COURTYARD"

Rağıp Elhüseyni, the son of Serhendi Foundation spokesperson Muhammed Saki Elhüseyni, stated in a video he shared regarding the fight, "They urinated in the mosque courtyard. I didn't want to use this word, but they did it. We expect the necessary response from the state. We have submitted our petition to the relevant authorities and the prosecutor's office. We will not intervene ourselves in any way. We will wait for the state to do what is necessary. I do not want any physical intervention from anyone. Our job here is to protect the property of the ummah. Our concern is not that a room should not be built here; they have plenty of land. They can build rooms for themselves there as well. To come and build in front of the mosque is provocation. Hopefully, our state will do what is necessary," he expressed.
