The dispute over inheritance among siblings in Menzil Village, located in the Kahta district of Adıyaman, continues. Recently, the Serhendi Group intervened when the Semerkand Group wanted to construct a part of the Menzil Mosque in the village. A stone and stick fight broke out between the groups of siblings. Some members of the congregation were injured in the fight. A large number of gendarmerie were sent to the village. "THEY URINATED IN THE MOSQUE COURTYARD"Rağıp Elhüseyni, the son of Serhendi Foundation spokesperson Muhammed Saki Elhüseyni, stated in a video he shared regarding the fight, "They urinated in the mosque courtyard. I didn't want to use this word, but they did it. We expect the necessary response from the state. We have submitted our petition to the relevant authorities and the prosecutor's office. We will not intervene ourselves in any way. We will wait for the state to do what is necessary. I do not want any physical intervention from anyone. Our job here is to protect the property of the ummah. Our concern is not that a room should not be built here; they have plenty of land. They can build rooms for themselves there as well. To come and build in front of the mosque is provocation. Hopefully, our state will do what is necessary," he expressed. SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAMS IN THE VILLAGEAs the dimensions of the fight grow every day, it has been learned that Saki Erol, who separated from the Semerkand Foundation led by his brother Mübarek Erol by establishing the Serhendi Foundation, has increased the number of his special guards, and special operations teams have been dispatched to the village following the rising tension. THEY ARE ON ALERT EVEN WHILE LEADING PRAYERSSaygı Öztürk from Sözcü newspaper reported that Erol's guards standing right behind him while he was leading prayers in the mosque were on alert for any potential attack, stating, "I learned that he was warned that poison could be put in his food and drink."
