The terrorist organization PKK/YPG, which continues its occupation in northeastern Syria, has smuggled 1,300 men and women from its supporters gathered in Iran and Iraq into Syria since January 3. THEY GATHERED IN HASAKEH AND QAMISHLIThe organization is gathering its supporters, whom it has transported to Syrian territory to strengthen the occupation in Kobani against Turkey's possible military operation, in the provincial center of Hasakeh and the district of Qamishli. The terrorists are transporting their gathered supporters to camps in Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, where they provide armed training. The PKK/YPG, which has been occupying one-third of Syrian territory, facilitates the passage of terrorist elements through a logistical line that reaches from northern Iraq to northeastern Syria. MESSAGES THAT FOREIGN TERRORISTS IN SYRIA MUST LEAVE THE COUNTRYForeign Minister Hakan Fidan stated, "The ultimatum we have given to them (PKK/YPG) is clear. We have conveyed it through the Americans and through the press. Those who qualify as international terrorist fighters, who have come from Turkey, Iran, and Iraq, must leave (Syria) without fail." U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass also noted that they understand Turkey's security concerns and that foreign terrorists in Syria must leave the country.
