AIR POLLUTION AT "SEVERE" LEVEL
According to a report by NDTV in India, air pollution around Delhi continues to remain at a "severe" level. The dense fog affecting Delhi and its surroundings due to air pollution has reduced visibility, leading to disruptions in flight operations.
"ORANGE" ALERT ISSUED
While 100 flights were canceled due to the fog in the region, more than 300 flights experienced delays. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an "orange" alert for the dense fog.
MORE THAN 90 TRAINS OPERATED WITH DELAYS
Air pollution also negatively affected train services, with more than 90 trains operating with delays of six to seven hours due to low visibility.
