Following the incident, A.A.G., who fled the scene on a motorcycle, was caught and detained by the police. Along with the main suspect, B.G. and K.Y. were also detained. While police teams conducted investigations in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood where the incident took place, they initiated efforts to find the weapon used in the crime.
