Hasan Fakıoğlu, who killed his ex-girlfriend Ayşenur Çolakoğlu in Eskişehir, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a reduction for good behavior. The grieving father of the young girl stated that their appeal to remove the reduction for good behavior was not accepted and they will apply to the Court of Cassation.

The 23-year-old Hasan Fakıoğlu, who shot his ex-girlfriend Ayşenur Çolakoğlu in the head and chest with a gun, killing her, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a reduced sentence for good behavior in the trial where he was held in custody. Mesut Çolakoğlu, the grieving father, stated that their objection to the removal of the reduced sentence for good behavior was not accepted by the Court of Appeal, and said, "Since we find the reduced sentence for good behavior unjustified, we are submitting an appeal petition to the Court of Cassation."
