The district chairman of YRP, who shared "We want Sharia" post, has been dismissed.

The District Chairman of the Prosperity Party in Izmir Bergama, Yunus Ari, made a post saying "We want a referendum for Sharia law." Ari removed the post, and it was announced that the district chairman of the Prosperity Party was dismissed.

"THE VOTE OF THOSE WHO WANT SHARIA IS OVER 50%"

In his post on his X account, Yunus Ari, the District Chairman of the Prosperity Party in Izmir Bergama, used the expression "We want a referendum for Sharia law. The vote of those who want Sharia is well over 50%."

In his post, Ari also tagged the party's leader, Fatih Erbakan, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. While the post received numerous reactions, Ari later deleted it.

In a statement made on the Prosperity Party's social media account, it was announced that District Chairman Yunus Ari was dismissed due to his "statements that do not comply with the party's regulations and discipline."

While the Prosperity Party's move attracted attention, there has been no statement from Yunus Ari regarding the issue.
