Çanakkale Governor Ömer Toraman stated on his social media account, "According to the data obtained from the meteorology radar and the latest assessments, local strong thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in the Lapseki and Biga regions in the next 2 hours. Caution and preparedness should be exercised against adverse conditions such as flash floods, water inundation, lightning, local hail, sudden strong winds, and disruptions in transportation."

After the warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rain and hail were effective in Bursa in the evening hours. In the rain that lasted about half an hour, floodwaters from the slopes of Uludağ turned the city into a lake. Traffic came to a standstill, and drivers experienced difficult moments on Atatürk Avenue and Altıparmak Avenue, which are among the busiest streets in the city. Citizens caught unprepared by the downpour took shelter under the metro, workplaces, and buildings.
